Meet Your Student Government
A select group of highly motivated and passionate individuals seeking to enhance your Leeds experience.
JUNIOR | PRESIDENT OF LSG
Three words to describe me: Creative, Contemplative, Curious
I joined The Leeds Student Government as a first-semester freshman as a way to make an impact throughout my school. I wanted to have the ability to translate student opinion into change, and to join the powerful, motivated group of individuals who had the ability to do so. Joining LSG was among the best decisions I made as a Buff, and I hope to extend my involvement with enhancing the student experience as long as I can.
I loved attending the value-orientation and idea conception retreats, along with any project throughout the past year which included a marketing input. One that I am particularly proud of was our Freshman Outreach program, where we brought Insomnia to the RAP to gauge Leeds club interest and collect student opinion. Bringing students’ voice to the main-stage is always very satisfying and motivating for me. I look forward to the Spring Clubs Banquet and the many more involvement-based events we plan on running.
SOPHOMORE | VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Three words to describe me: Hardworking, Ambitious, Enthusiastic
I joined Leeds Student Government simply to get involved in Leeds at first. However, as I began to write my application I realized that I truly want to make a difference for the students of the business school. Whether that be helping Leeds shoot up the national business school rankings, or by instilling a deeper sense of pride for Leeds students, I am excited to make the business school better this year.
One project that I am very excited to be a part of is the "Pop Up Shops" for apparel within Leeds. I'm thrilled for the spirit days we can plan when students have more Leeds t-shirts and hoodies. I believe that these events will instill a deeper sense of pride into our peers, making Leeds a tighter knit community. I am a big fan of the idea of making a big school seem small, and I'm confident the Leeds Student Government can achieve that in the coming years.
SENIOR | VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Three words to describe me: Strong, joyful, open minded
I joined LSG because I wanted to help make Leeds an even better school than it already is for the next generations to come. Putting my passions into initiatives for the school is what I love to do because I want everyone to be as passionate as I am, too.
One project I am extremely excited to be working on is a transfer student initiative where I work with the transfer student advisors on making the transition into Leeds the best experience it could possibly be. I was a transfer student, and I remember not knowing much about Leeds, and I want these incoming students to know all about the opportunities and clubs they can get involved in as soon as they get here!
SOPHOMORE | VICE PRESIDENT OF STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Three words to describe me: Tenacious, Genuine, Perceptive,
I joined Leeds Student Government to surround myself with opportunities to instill change and promote an up and coming educational program that I have the pleasure of being a part of. Helping others and being selfless has always been second nature for me. I take pleasure in uplifting others and being the voice for the voiceless. I joined LSG because I believe that it is necessary to have student organizations on campus to help voice student concerns, requests, and opinions.
Through communication and transparency, my goal is to enhance other students experiences and make life at CU the best for everyone. I want to lead initiatives to increase the diversity and inclusion at Leeds as well as helping other student organizations receive funding and resources so they can leave a positive impact on the Leeds community.
SENIOR | CUSG CO-SENATOR
Three words to describe me: Learner, Proactive, Motivated
My passion to represent the student body as well as develop myself as a leader has guided me to join Leeds Student Government. I hope to promote Leeds making it desirable for prospective students and progressing it for current students. I truly want to make college the best experience I can for everyone.
My goal is to represent the ideas of my classmates by serving as the liaison between the student body and the University. I will accomplish this through transparency in communication, encouraging the diversity of thought, and my desire to stimulate positive change through hard-work and perseverance. I have really enjoyed working on all programs which have benefitted both Leeds students as well as the University as a whole.
SOPHOMORE | CUSG CO-SENATOR

I plan to join in finding ways to better our opportunities as business students by providing events and initiatives that made me feel the way Leeds did the day I committed.
Leadership has and always will be a passion of mine. I'm looking forward to using that passion to invest in the experiences students in Leeds will have and want to have. I'm excited to continue building a positive and successful reputation for Leeds nationwide and beyond. I’m also excited to build on the dedication that this community has and to start initiatives that widen our aspirations as students while aiming to make our community feel smaller too.

I joined LSG with one simple goal: to improve the business school. From student inclusion and mental heath to faculty and club appreciation, LSG is a valuable tool for creating change within Leeds. Three words to describe me: Creative, Independant, Focused
I joined Leeds Student Government because I was really interested in a positive impact in the business school, while being surrounding with like-minded peers. After being involved with student council in high school, I really wanted to submerse myself into the college experience and connect with students and faculty as a student representative. While being apart of Leeds Student Government, I am very excited to be involved with future initiatives that will better the experiences of Leeds students. A future initiative for women in business, for example, will create awareness of the lack of women in the business world. The initiative would the intention of increasing confidence and participation of women in business events.

Three words to describe me: Responsible, Hardworking, Dedicated
With the many people that attend CU Boulder, I wanted to join Leeds Student Government to make a big school feel small in a way. Seeing the diversity of people at Leeds and the vast perspectives that everyone shares in their love of business, LSG seemed to embody every club and promote a greater sense of inclusivity within the business school. With my past experiences in high school Student Government, LSG was an opportunity not only to find leadership and connect with the administration academically, but also promote a sense of community between the students. I joined to connect with and help every student whether they live in or outside of the RAP, learn more about the business school, showcase the amazing clubs offered, and ultimately play a role in making Leeds the best business school it can be!
As a new member of the student government, I would love to better LSG's relationship with other organizations and help work as a team to accomplish unity within Leeds! There are so many great resources through the various clubs at Leeds that putting all the resources together would result in an amazing impact on the school. I also want to connect the freshman to the community of Leeds and help familiarize our class of 2020 with the culture of the business school. Myself included, walking into Leeds there were so many different opportunities and clubs I was never aware of because I didn't know of the many resources that Leeds offers. No matter where a freshman lives on campus that is involved with the business school, I think outreach across campus through emailed information, fun Leeds events, and academic support would better encompass the unity we are striving for. I can't wait for this year and hope I can be a help to everyone and at Leeds!

Three words to describe me: Driven, Friendly, Empathetic
My desire to join LSG was sparked by my realization of the uniqueness of the Leeds community. I saw a group of students and faculty that was competitive but didn’t sacrifice friendliness in the process of achieving their goals. It inspired me to get a position where I would have the ability to give back to the community and make the Leeds experience even better. This isn't an opportunity I take for granted and I look forward to working for Leeds students.
As a member of LSG, I want to increase student engagement and success whether that be through increased club participation or utilization of the resources Leeds provides. To keep resources in Leeds, I will be working on a project to raise funds to keep the Bloomberg Lab in Koelbel. Also, I look forward to continuing the advancement of Leeds by listening to the most pressing concerns and ideas of students so I can pass them on to LSG.

Three words to describe me: Driven, passionate, intuitive
I joined LSG because it is a great platform to make a difference at Leeds. It gives the students a voice and allows us to learn the skills necessary to be an impactful member of the Leeds community. I also wanted to make friends with like-minded people who share the same drive and passion as myself.
I would like to make an impact on the student experience at Leeds by drawing from my own observations and those who I have spoken to. I hope to participate in many initiatives that strive to enhance life at Leeds School of Business.

I joined LSG in hopes to better connect with community members and represent the student voice on campus. Through LSG I hope to engage with my peers, faculty, and community members to understand perspectives and hopefully contribute to an overall positive experience for everyone in the Leeds community. Through LSG, I hope better provide students with opportunities to reach their maximum caliber while also learning from individuals myself through this experience.
I am most excited to work under the Transfer Student initiative in LSG to better support Pre-Business Students as they make their way into the Leeds Community. Three words to describe me: Determined, Passionate, Funny
I joined Leeds Student Government because I want to make an impact within Leeds! I believe that addressing the needs, desires and concerns of my fellow students is essential for Leeds to generate cohesion and community from within. I am also here to serve as a connection between non-RAP freshman and Leeds.
I am ecstatic to be on the community service committee. We plan to create opportunities for the students of Leeds to involve themselves in community service. I hope to make an impact in the lives of all Leeds students by showing them the importance and value that community service holds.

Three words to describe me: Inquisitive, active, open-minded
I joined Leeds Student Government because I see great potential in our Business School. I would like to be a voice for the students in making change for improvement and see through all suggestions and initiatives. I want to be part of what makes our school successful and relevant as I contribute my perspective as an out-of-state student with experience in corporate and professional environments.
I am excited to make an impact to our initiatives involving diversity and inclusion with the intent that every Leeds student feels they are supported throughout their academic journey. I hope to instill a lifelong pride in students in such a way that they will stand by Leeds as they embark on their future business careers. Doing so, I am excited to build and strengthen the Leeds network of faculty, staff and students.

Three words to describe me: Competitive, Ambitious, Empathetic
As an IUT student into Leeds, I was anxious to find my footing in the business school. From serving on student government in high school, I had found my passion for community building, event coordination, and overall enjoyment working on a team with individuals who shared the same goals. It was something that provided me an opportunity to express my hard and soft skills all in one area. I joined LSG because I saw that there was a need for more minority female representation. I hope to make an impact for women in business and am very proud to be a Business Buff!
This year, I am excited to host initiatives that revolve around inclusivity and diversity. I grew up in Federal Heights, CO where the demographic was mainly minorities, so representation is a topic that I carry close to my heart. I am looking forward to working with individuals with different strengths than I have, and hope to bring out all the different cultures that Leeds entails!

Three words to describe me: Ambitious, Open-minded, Motivated
One of the reasons I wanted to join the Leeds Student Government is similar to those who have joined. I wanted the school to build a more diverse and inclusive community at Leeds. I know for many people like me, I sometimes feel out of place at Leeds. It is important to be able to have open communication about the diversity issue here at Leeds. When I look back at my college experience, I want to be able to say that I made the school a better place.
I look forward to working with student organizations and other organization in Leeds in order to be more inclusive as a school. The ability to bridge the gap between the student body and faculty will help me make this school a welcoming place.
